When you need to start divorce proceedings, it is essential to make sure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and submitted correctly. Johnson Astills are on the HMCTS portal which allows a divorce petition to be submitted quickly.
For a fixed price of £1,493.00 (inc VAT at 20%) our friendly, expert divorce solicitors will guide you through the entire process of petitioning for divorce. We will ensure every detail is taken care of, making the process much simpler and less stressful for you.
This fixed price includes:
- Legal Fees: £750.00
- VAT: £150.00
- Court Fees: £593.00
- Total: £1,493.00

- Preparing and submitting:
- The Divorce Petition
- Any accompanying documentation required
- The application for The Conditional Order (previously Decree Nisi)
- The application for The Final Order (previously Decree Absolute)
- Correspondence between you, your spouse and the court on divorce matters
- Court Fee of £593.00
What isn’t covered by our fixed fee package?
Our fixed fee divorce Applicant package covers uncontested divorce proceedings. It does not cover:
- Finances
- Personal Service
- Arrangements for Children
Our divorce solicitors will be happy to assist with these other matters for an additional fee, so, should you need assistance in these areas, please get in touch.
Paying for your fixed fee divorce Applicant package
When you choose our fixed fee divorce Applicant package, you don’t need to pay the full fee in advance. Instead, we will agree timings for a number of staged payments, allowing you to spread the cost of paying for our services. Prior to issue, we will require one half of the divorce costs plus the court fee and pay the remainder upon application for The final Order.
