Jenny joined Johnson Astills in 2024 as a paralegal in the Care Team. She studied at The University of Hull where in 2001 she obtained a Degree in English & Gender Studies and went on to study at De Montfort University where she obtained a Post-graduate Diploma in Law in 2021. Jenny studied at The University of Law where she obtained her Master of Laws in Professional Legal Practice in 2024 and is committed to providing excellent service to her clients.

Jenny provides support to the Care Team in relation to all aspects of Childcare Law including:

Pre-proceedings advice where Social Services are holding a Child Protection Conference or Pre-Proceedings Meeting
Advice regarding Section 20 Children Act 1989
Advice to family members regarding a negative assessment completed by Social Services in relation to a family member’s ability to care for a child
