Grease Is The Word

On Tuesday 6^th December 2016, Emery Johnson Astills along with guests, attended the Curve to enjoy a performance of Grease the Musical in celebration of their 21^st Birthday. As members of the Curve, Emery Johnson Astills regularly attend the venue to watch the spectacular performances that take place at the theatre in Leicester. Emery Johnson Astills were pleased to have the company of Warning Zone, a Leicester based charity which the firm proudly supports.

The evening began with fizz and canapés before everybody eagerly took their seats for the new production of the class hit musical. The musical included all of the famous favourites and the adaptations to the musical meant that it was full of wonderful surprises.

The show broke for an interval so it was only right that Emery Johnson Astills and guests alike kept to theatre tradition by tucking into some ice-cream.  When everybody took their places for the second half, it was definitely in anticipation that it would be just as exciting as the first. More famous favourites were sung and when the musical came to an end, spectators were encouraged to join in.

The evening was a fantastic way to celebrate Emery Johnson Astills’ 21^st Birthday and a lovely start to the festive season. It is fair to say that all who attended had a fabulous night and probably had the catchy classics stuck in their heads for some time.
