Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends

Here at Emery Johnson Astills we are proud to be Dementia Friends. On 27th April and 8th June 2017 members of our team attended a training and awareness session with Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends.

Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is the biggest initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way in which people think, act and talk about the condition.

There are different types of dementia which affects the brain at different rates and in different ways. Dementia progresses in a way unique to each individual.

Emery Johnson Astills understand how someone’s personal circumstances and the people around them will affect their experience of dementia. Our staff make every effort to support clients living with Dementia and make involvement with solicitors as easy as possible.
